Eye Spy

Eyes in the wall,
Ears outside the window.
Someone's peering in,
To my life's crescendo.
Spies in the skies,
Bugs under the table.
Cameras on the computer,
Microphones in my tv,
What do they want from me?

Comfort in isolation,

Gratitude for affliction.

The inside outs,

Of some addictions.

Secluded from the world,

Insane from the pain.

A Second Glance

Alone and happy,
Alone in despair.
Both of my worlds,
Seem so unfair.
But I'm the lucky one,
Who got a second chance.
Some would have killed me,

The Awakening

The Cool Breeze Flows,
Gently across my face.
As I fade into oblivion,
With so much of my disgrace.

The Fall of Man

World obsessed,
A world possessed- 
By riches and glory,
Let's review the story...
God Created and it was good,
Upon the Heavens and Earth he stood. 
Then Lucifer fell from high above,
Because he ignored Jehovah's love. 
Adam fell into a trap, 
Because the devil was on his back.
Now he has to plow the ground,
Building his cities among the mounds.
Women now weep and wail, 
In childbirth, they do travail. 
A brother killed his brother, 
The blood cried out to his another. 
A man was called to father a nation,
The stars of the sky,
Number his Generations.
Empires grew and fell,
Dreams and visions were given to tell.
A tower reaching to the sky,
The people trying to conquer the Most High.
Soon it all came crashing down.
The people were scattered from town to town. 
So the world was divided in parts,
Only evil is in their hearts.
So God sent of flood one day,
And wiped the earth and sinners away.
But then hope arrived through a dove,
A sign of home and a brand new love.

A Song Letter

Look in the mirror my friend, 

What do you see? 

A pair of guilty eyes,

Not so different from me. 

Fingers point and people accuse,

That's why I sing the blues. 

Tell me again why you hate me so,

The Silence Grows Dim

In a whirlwind,
The mighty forces at hand.
The storm is raging,
No peace in this land.
I hear them crying out,
But I am helpless to save.
My heart is pouring out,
I can only see the graves.
Looking for a window in time,
When I could have made a change,
Peering through the stained glass,
